Indian cosmetics are truly natural

Posted on November 19, 2019

India is not only a day-to-day drama like “The 8-year-old Bride”, India is also known as a country of herbs, essential oils with natural extracts and skin care products. extremely benign, hardly contains toxic chemicals such as Parabens, Phthalates, Sulphates, Alcohol, Petroleum, Phenoxyethanols, artificial colors or odors, etc. Absolutely natural, totally friendly and perfectly suitable for those Who is not interested in cosmetic industry from developed countries such as France, USA, Japan, Korea …

Walking around a big group about beauty, it is not difficult for me to find 2 Indian cosmetic brands that are most interested in women today: Aroma Magic and Aura Vedic.

Aroma Magic is one of nature’s cosmetic brands recognized as extremely benign for the skin, free of toxic and artificial chemicals, founded by Dr. Blossom Kochhar in 1992. And Aura Vedic is inspired by the Vedas and Ayurveda sutras – traditional Indian medicine methods that cure and beautify people through herbs and natural energy of humans.

All Indian cosmetic shops have products of the two brands so I can easily buy some items from both brands. Here are some of my experiences of the 4 Indian products I bought.

1. AROMA MAGIC Neem & Tea Tree Face Wash
Price: 150k / 100ml

Ingredients as the name implies, this product uses Neem extract and tea tree oil (tea tree) to help fight inflammation, antifungal and kill bacteria, in addition to rose extract to help soothe irritated skin and lavender rejuvenates the skin, vitamins and beta-carotene fruit help fight oxidation, fade scars and tone the skin.

Aroma Magic cleanser in gel form, has a pH close to the natural pH of the skin (5.5) so it is very gentle, has a quite characteristic tea tree smell, does not contain soap, so it only creates tiny bubbles, not porous cotton like cleanser with SLS ingredients. My skin is sensitive and acne-prone but after use it does not get dry or irritated.

However, the minus point is that after washing my face, even though I splashed water on my face a lot of times, I still feel a thin layer that makes the skin a bit slippery and viscous. This film will disappear when wiping with a damp washcloth or cotton pad. The first few times I found it a bit annoying, but after using it, I did not feel very uncomfortable.

The packaging says “only for oily skin” but with dry combination skin as I can still use and give a pretty good experience. Because it is a facial cleanser, we should only care about the ability to clean the skin, other factors that the company advertises as scar scars or skin lightening will almost no effect because this product is only stored on the skin. less than 1 minute.

2. AROMA MAGIC Hydro Gel Water Supply Gel
Price: 160k / 50gr

The composition of this gel is quite simple and friendly with aloe vera gel (soothes damaged, dry skin), seaweed extract (provides minerals, helps skin healthier), soy extract (serving skin regeneration), beta-carotene (antioxidant and skin moisturizer) and vitamin E (anti-aging).

You know, water is an important element of the skin, but like many good things in life, water in the skin will easily disappear if you do not know how to preserve and protect. And once lost, you must add more from the outside. Our skin is made to be waterproof, so no matter how much water you put in your skin, it’s also useless. And the water supply gel we’re talking about is fortunate to contain those “bridging” substances.

After using Aroma Magic Hydro Gel, my skin looked brighter due to hydration and no peeling near the corner of my nose. The gel soaks up pretty quickly, coolly, without greasy feeling so great for summer use. I also apply it to burns, reduce burning and soothe my skin extremely effectively.

While the user manual says Hydro Gel can replace moisturizers, if you have dry skin or a dry combination like me, the gel alone is not enough. I still need to apply an extra layer of lotion after using Hydro Gel to create a moist layer that protects the skin firmly at night. However, if you have oily skin, this is not necessary.

3. AURA VEDIC Anti Blemish Clear Skin Mask
Aura Vedic mask contains some basic ingredients quite similar to the products of Aroma Magic mentioned above such as Neem, tea tree (antibacterial, acne), aloe vera (lighten, moisturize). However, Aura Vedic still shows herself as a little more sophisticated with many other substances such as Tulsi (purifying the skin, detoxifying), papaya extract (exfoliating, helping the skin to be strong), turmeric (intensive treatment). , scars), vitamin C and antioxidants found in Amla (anti-aging) juices, moisturizing soothing oils like jojoba, coconut oil, sage oil and kaolin clay (remove excess oil) ).

I use the mask 2-3 times / week. This type of mask really works very well in treating blackheads and hidden acne. I have a lot of acne hidden on the chin and forehead, they stick deep in the skin and persistently unable to multiply, making the skin rough and uncomfortable.
